What We Demolish

We undertake a wide range of non-high-rise demolition and structural removals, including:

• Outbuildings and garages

• Concrete slabs and pads

• Retaining walls and plinths

• Boundary walls and fencing

• Hardstanding and tarmac areas

• Old footpaths, steps, and kerbs

• Precast or modular base structures

All works are risk-assessed in advance. Where applicable, we work from engineer-approved temporary works designs to maintain safety and structural control.

Demolition Method and Process

We use mechanical and manual methods depending on the structure, location, and access. Our process includes:

• Site assessment and risk planning

• Isolation of services (water, electric, gas)

• Removal of roof, cladding, and internal soft strip

• Demolition using excavators or breakers

• Slab and footing breakout

• Sorting and loading of materials for disposal or recycling

• Dust suppression and noise control as required

If asbestos is suspected or identified, we follow UK legislation for licensed removal and site safety.

Concrete and Slab Breakout

We also carry out breakout of structural concrete, footings, and hard bases using hydraulic breakers and appropriate plant. This includes:

• Industrial slabs and service yards

• Reinforced pads and base foundations

• Old road surfaces and yard slabs

• Footings and base removal for new builds

Spoil is loaded, removed, or stockpiled with appropriate segregation to reduce landfill and improve recycling rates.

Qualified Operatives and Waste Handling

All demolition works are undertaken by trained personnel:

• CSCS-qualified operatives and supervisors

• CPCS/NPORS machine operators

• Asbestos Awareness trained

• SSSTS/SMSTS supervisors

• Licenced waste carriers (where applicable)

We manage skip hire, muck-away, and transport to licenced waste facilities with full duty-of-care documentation. Where possible, hardcore and concrete are crushed for reuse on site.
