Complete Drainage Installation Services

United Civils provides fully integrated below-ground drainage solutions for a wide range of developments. From private housing sites to highways and large industrial builds, we deliver precise, compliant drainage networks that support long-term site performance.

All drainage runs are installed with accurate levels and falls, using laser levels and pipe lasers for control. Pipe bedding, surround, and backfill are completed to specification, and all works are pressure or air-tested where required for sign-off.

Manhole Construction and Rebuilds

Our operatives are trained to construct both traditional brickwork and pre-cast concrete (PCC) manholes in accordance with local authority specifications. We also carry out manhole benching, cover installation, and frame setting to precise finish levels.

Pre-Formed and Modular Chambers

In addition to manholes, we install a range of modular access chambers for services such as electrical, comms, water, and fibre. We work with industry-standard systems such as:

• Duct access and cable draw pits

Chambers are set on proper bases and surrounded as per manufacturer guidance. Cover types are selected based on traffic loadings (e.g. A15–D400) and installed flush to surrounding surfaces to prevent trip hazards or pooling.

Certified, Safe and Coordinated Installations

Drainage works are delivered by fully qualified groundworkers with CSCS and Street Works (NRSWA) certification where applicable. All excavations are supported or battered to ensure safety, and confined space works are carried out under proper controls.

We work under full RAMS, provide as-built documentation if required, and coordinate with utility providers, main contractors, and inspectors to ensure a smooth approval process.
